Atlas Plastics is celebrating 40 years of successful rotational moulding.

We are one of the largest rotational moulding companies in South Africa with a national network of branches to support our customers and ensure excellent service and reliable delivery. As a leader in new product development, our product range has increased to cover numerous markets. Initially only active in the mining industry in the early 1970’s, the company identified and actively moved into various other markets where we could make a mark.

Sanitation was one of the first markets of our company where we produced the round toilet hut followed by various VIP pedestals. This market expanded after 1994 and so did the Atlas range of sanitary ware, into what is now a comprehensive range of products for the affordable housing market. One of the more popular innovations was the attractive granite colour which was introduced into the sanitary ware range.

The majority of new moulds are made in house. This gives us flexibility to adapt to our customers needs and improve or refine products whenever necessary. On the custom moulding side, it has the added advantage of including the customer in the mould manufacturing process. This develops a strong partnership with our customers to ensure that the end product is exactly what the customer requires, often changing from the original concept.
